WHY WE LOVE YPORQUE

Ever since we launched our rock n' roll inspired children's designer boutique we have been on the lookout for brands that are unique, edgy, and speak to us and our vision. Our goal has always been scouting for brands that are "boutique" defined and sold exclusively through vendors like us, looking to deliver that unique article of clothing that not all the kids are wearing. I mean you have to start experimenting at an early age. This is why we were beyond excited when we found yporque at the Playtime-NY trade show.
The company was founded in Barcelona, Spain by three women that shared a vision to create a brand made for children. The name in itself is genius and is Spanish for why? which is the never ending question we hear from children at any age. Their clothing is intended to stimulate the five senses by incorporating sounds, textures, games and glow-in-the-dark images. This interactive and playful concept has become the brand's trademark.
For Skanenordvast, being a brand that shares this image of incorporating music into the clothing we wear and our everyday lives, it was a match made in heaven. We fell in love with the simple designs, comfortable and quality fabrics, edgy looks and tees with sound....WHAT?????? This was where the excitement started. Their tees are made with a removable pouch that simulate the sound of the image on the actual tee itself. We haven't met a kid yet that didn't get excited when they found out that the shirt they were holding actually plays music.

This is just highlighting a few reasons we love this brand and why we are so excited to bring it to all of our customers. We hope you get an opportunity to experience it for yourself.
